Woochae is an Operating Partner at Ark & Partners.

Prior to joining the firm, Woochae took the role of CFO for Samyang Optics and D.Share, portfolio companies invested by VIG Partners for 5 years, where he successfully led an IPO on KOSDAQ and drove the optimization and value creation. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Woori bank, Mirae Asset securities, and KB securities for a period of 7 years, specializing in structured and leveraged financing for various M&A transactions. Woochae’s previous role also includes an engineer and an account manager at LG Display.

With his comprehensive finance and operational leadership experience from multiple CFO roles and investment banking, he will contribute to optimization of financial operation of portfolio companies.

Woochae is a CPA licensed in Washington State and holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sogang University and a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
