Songwook is a Managing Partner and one of the firm’s co-founders.

Prior to co-founding Ark & Partners in 2020, he spent 15 years at VIG Partners and Vogo Fund (the predecessor of VIG) as a Managing Partner for his latest role. Before that, he spent 10 years in the investment banking division at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley in Seoul where he was responsible for M&A transaction executions.

With profound understanding through his 25+ years of deal execution, post-acquisition value creation and exit track record, Songwook specializes in corporate governance, vision implementation, organizational structure management, and exit strategies.

Songwook holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from Korea University.
